Wana Banyu Bening Foundation (WBB) was established by Djuneidi Saripurnawan and I Wayan Sandi in 2025 in Bungaya Village, Karangasem, Bali, Indonesia. The foundation was officially legalized under the Decree of the Minister of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number AHU-0000890.AH.01.04.Year 2025 concerning the Approval of the Establishment of the Wana Banyu Bening Foundation. The foundation is registered under Foundation Registration Number AHU-0001461.AH.01.12.Year 2025, dated January 20, 2025.
The first board of the Foundation consisted of:
I Wayan Sandi – Chairperson of the Board of Trustees
Boogie Setiawan – Member of the Board of Trustees
Djuneidi Saripurnawan – Chairperson of the Executive Board
Dewa Made Juli Santika – Secretary of the Executive Board
I Komang Sandika Rantun – Treasurer of the Executive Board
Vidia Paramita – Chairperson of the Supervisory Board
The name "Wana Banyu Bening" was proposed by I Wayan Sandi during the establishment process as a replacement for the original proposed name, "Cinta Alam Nusantara Foundation," which had already been registered in the online legal entity database of the Republic of Indonesia.
WBB was made possible through the full support of the Tolong Flores Foundation (Stichting Tolong Flores), based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The individuals directly involved in intensive communication and support were Mr. Tims, Ms. Linda, and Mr. Kees.
WBB received its first support from the local community of Bungaya Village, Bali, and the Tolong Flores Foundation to implement a Plastic Waste Elimination Program through alternative environmental education and a sustainable ecosystem approach. This program empowers children as agents of change within their families and communities.
Together, we carry out all program activities with joy and enthusiasm, guided by the spirit of mutual cooperation, shared learning, and collective responsibility for environmental health and sustainability—particularly in Bungaya Village and throughout Indonesia.
